Big roar as Nandi hosts 4×4 Challenge series opener

Giant machines are excepted to roar at the second edition of Nandi 4×4 Conservation Challenge, that also serves as 4×4 challenge circuit opener.

The two day event, kicking off on June first to second is organisers by Basil Maiyo, the Challenge has so far attracted 0ver 80 cars set for next month in Nandi County at Tulon.

Maiyo said the challenge meant to conserve the environment is an off-road Motor-sport competition with competitors navigating tough-to-navigate hotspots.

“This challenge is called #029 Nandi 4×4 Conservation Challenge, with the sport bringing funs from all walks of life for sports tourism,” said Maiyo.

He explained that the hotspots are perfectly selected has a level of complexity in terms of terrain, as well as offer fans panoramic views of the skyline and other tourism attractions.

After nandi, the Challenge will move to Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Bungoma then Baringo, as they seek new entrants in Nakuru, Malindi among other areas of interest.

“The sport is rapidly growing just like Elgon 4X4 events and it’s nemesis, Rhino Charge because it is an event organized by the community as they plant trees,” he added.
