Wazito to extend NSL lead against Green Commandos

Top of the table Wazito FC will stamp the authority when they host relegation bound Green Commandos at Camp Toyoyo on Friday as National Super Leaguer (NSL) enters its 33rd fixture over the weekend.

Wazito who were relegated from Kenya Premier League (KPL) last season, leapfrogged Kisumu All Stars in the mid-week following their win against Fortune Sacco as Kisumu played to a barren draw against Ushuru.

The Nairobi based wazito has accumulated 66 points and enjoys a one point lead against Kisumu’s 65 as the latter competes to return to the KPL after 20 years of long wait since 1999 when they were relegated.

Kisumu will be hosting Coast Stima tomorrow at Moi stadium Kisumu to bring their title and promotional chase alive.

On 64 points is third placed Nairobi Stima, who have lost only two matches in the second tier league will be hosting Kangemi All Stars at Karuturi Sports ground on Saturday.
