Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), Catholic Monks, Zeteck Oaks, Daystar Falcons, Western Bulls and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) side, the Cougars recorded victories as KRU Championships kicked off today.
All home teams were the winners except Homeboyz who fell to Zetech Oaks at their backyard.
Enjoying home advantage, MMUST won the University derby when they thrashed the University of Nairobi side Mean Machine 32-06 at the kakamega based university grounds.
Another big win came from Daystar Falcons who beat the United States International University (USIU) side Martial 25-11 with Western Bulls humiliating the University of Eldoret (UOE) Trojans 13-0.
