Trans Nzoia Falcons thrashed visiting Zetech Sparks as kenya Women Premier league (KWPL) second round kicked off across the country on Sunday.
Enjoying home ground advantaged, Falcons scored 6-1 past their visitors. Itigo girls striker Martha Amunyoleti and Tumaini Nafula netted a hat trick while Alukwo Anyetu scored a consolation for Zetech.
Zetech was was not bad for the weekend after they beat their hosts and debutants Nyuki Starlets on Saturday. Elizabeth Wanyoni scored a brace as Lydia Akoth scored in a 1-3 win while Praxedese Itambo was on target for the hosts.
Thika Queens won 3-2 over visiting Makolanders as Eldoret Falcons won 3-1 against Wadadia.
Gaspo Women came from a goal down to beat debutants Kibera Girls Soccer Academy 2-1.
Elizabeth Mutikiza and Wincate Kaari were on target for the table topping Gaspo, while Kibera’s lone goal was scored by Siliya Lamasia.
