Bullish team Kenya in search of more medals at World Athletics Relays tomorrow

Kenya registered dismal performance in the 4x400m relays ahead of tomorrow’s World Athletics Relays championships finals at the Silesia stadium in Silesia, Poland.

In today’s action, the women’s 4x400m relays, Kenya, competing in the second heat finishing 13th overall after clocking 3:39.34.

It was the same dismal performance in men’s 4x400m relay finishing in 3:10.81.

In the 4x400m mixed relays, Kenya was disqualified after dropping the button during the third leg.

Kenya will be seeking to make amends in the 4x200m relay men and women’s races on Sunday.

The team consisting of Maximilla Imali, Doreen Waka, Susan Nyambura and Monica Zefania will fly the Kenyan flag.

Kenya will be facing off with at the finals with Ecuador, Ireland, Denmark and Poland (1:35.50).

The Kenyan 4x200m relay men will also head straight to the final where Mark Otieno will team up with Mike Mokamba, Hesbon Ochieng and Elijah Matayo.

They will battle hosts Poland, Ecuador, Portugal, Denmark and Germany.

Action started last night with the heats in the 4x400m, 4x100m relays men and women, and 4x400m mixed relay.
