For the second time, the Confederation Africa Football (CAF) President Dr Patrice Motsepe today met Kenya President William Ruto at State House in Nairobi.
The visit for Motsepe is part of his working visit to the three countries that will host the CAF African Nations Championship 2024 (CHAN).
CAF President Dr Motsepe and President Ruto discussed preparations for the CHAN tournament.
He said that Ruto has the great support of football in Kenya as he was accompanied by CAF 4th Vice-President Seidou Mbombo Njoya, Chairperson of the CHAN Organising Committee, as well as CAF General Secretary Veron Mosengo-Omba.
They also met with newly elected Football Kenya Federation President Hussein Mohammed, as well as the CHAN 2024 Local Organising Committee, including chairperson Nicholas Musonye.
Dr Motsepe visited Kasarani and the Nyayo National Stadium and a number of training venues
