Former world half marathon champion Peres Jepchirchir will captain Kenya team for this year’s World Athletics Half Marathon Championships in Gdynia, Poland.
The team that left the country on Tuesday night will be Jepchirchir reclaim her glory she last won in 2016.
Jepchirchir, the reigning world half marathon record holder will marshal keyan forces with world half marathon record holder Jepkosgei, Rosemary Wanjiru, Dorcas Kimeli and Brilliant Jepkorir.
Men:
Kibiwott Kandie, Bernard Kipkorir, Bernard Kimeli, Leonard Barsoton and Morris Munene.
Women:
Peres Jepchirchir, Brilliant Jepkorir, Joyciline Jepkosgei, Rosemary Wanjiru and Dorcas Kimeli.
