Chager take round two East Africa Safari Classic lead

Navigated by Drew Sturrock, Kenya’s Baldev Chager has taken an early lead in the second day of East Africa Safari Rally Classic that vroomed off yesterday in Naivasha.

Driving his Porsche 911, Chager has taken 7.2 second lead in today’s 260km long stage ahead of Patrik Sandel, navigated by Henrik Bolinderfrom and Ken Block in third.

It was a bad day for Carl Tundo who retired early in the championships.

The 1994 Safari champion Ian Duncan was fourth, driving a Rover Vitesse.
