Baldev Chager regained the lead on the 3rd edition of the Top Fry Safari Classic Rally ahead of the final leg tomorrow.
Chager navigated by Ravi Soni in a Porsche 911 lost the lead to Onkar Rai in the second day but bounced back in awesome fashion on a penultimate day.
The rally is set to culminate tomorrow in Nanyuki with a mammoth 100km of competitive mileage where hair raising thrills will be the order of the day.
Chager’s fast and furious antics relegated Day Two leader Onkar to second place.
Chager and Onkar who are Kabras Sugar Racing teammates will be going for the jugular tomorrow and whatever is up their sleeves will be known on the finish ramp.
Should Chager sparkle on the event he will become the first driver to seal back to back wins in the third edition which has since relocated to the picturescue Laikipia County.
This year’s rally has revolved around the scenic Laikipia terrain covering a total of 1500km competitive mileage ahead KCB Kilifi Rally, the 4th round of the Kenya National Rally Championship set for mid-month on the weekend of August 16th and 17th.
