Champion Okutoyi on winning start at Kenya Tennis Open

Former Wimbledon doubles champion Angella Okutoyi won in her opening fixture with a win on her way to defend her Kenya Open Tennis title.

The championships that returns after four years the champion and prodigy Okutoyi will be seeking to defend her title after edging out Emaan Amin from Egypt 6-0, 6-0.

Okutoyi’s twin sister Roselida Asumwa defeated compatriot Rose Wanjala in 6-0 and 6-2.

In other results, Stacy Yego emerged victorious with a 6-0, 6-1 win against Sherryl Otieno. 

In boys’ Keean Shah defeated Sahib Chana 6-0, 6-4.
