Champions KCB Bank were eliminated from the ongoing Women’s African Clubs Championship in Tunisia.
KCB succumbed to little known Moulodia Club Alger of Algeria 3-2 (22-25,27-25,25-20,16-25, 13-15) and they will now play in the classification matches.
But former champions and Kenya Champions defeated their rivals to match into the semifinals of the annual clubs’ tournament.
In the quarterfinals, KPC were 3-0 winners against Cameroonian side Nyong Et Kelle in 25-10,25-13 and 25-21.
The Paul Gitau coached Pipeline will play the winner between Carthage of Tunisia and Patriotic Army (APR) of Rwanda in the semi-final tomorrow.
