Chebet and Lokedi set to defend their New York City marathon titles

Defending champions Evans Chebet and Sharon Lokedi will be battling out for this year’s New York marathon set for November 5^th in the USA.

In men, Chebet who won the title last year in his debut at 2:08:41 will be taking on three time champion Geoffrey Kamworor.

The duo will be up against compatriots Albert Korir, Edward Cheserek, Maru Teferi, Shura Kitata and Mosinet Geremew.

Lokedi will lead compatriots Helen Obiri,  Peris Jepchirchir, Edna Kiplagat, Viola Cheptoo and Brigid Kosgei.

Others will be Lonah Salpeter, Gotytom Gebreslase and Yalemzerf Yehualaw.
