Kenyan football giants Thika Queens failed to qualify for this year’s CAF Women Champions league after finishing 4th at the concluded CECAFA qualifiers in Njeru, Uganda.
The Charles Okere coached side lost 1-0 in today’s third place play-0ff to Burundi’s Buja Queens after losing in the semifinals where the winners will represent the region at the Champions league that will be held in Ivory Coast.

However, Tanzanian champions JKT Queens were croned the champions of the tournament to make it to the CAF Women’s Champions League.
Making their debut at the qualifiers, they beat CBE FC in the penalty, also meant that JKT Queens had prevailed through the entire tournament without a loss, having secured an 100% record in all their past game.
