Three Kenyans are expected to shine at the FBK Games Continental Tour in Hengelo, Netherlands on Monday June 9th .
The trio of former world under 18 champion Caren Chebet, Celestine mantaine and former africa 5,000m silver medalist Jackline Chepngeno will be competing in the in women’s 3000m steeplechase in the battle for the title.
The Kenyans will be up against former Olympic 3,000m steeplechase champion Peruth Jemutai of Uganda as well as Kenyan born turned Kazakhstan international and the former World Under 20 champion Daisy Jepkemei.
Chepngeno returns after three years since October 2022 when she finished third at the Frankfurt Marathon.
Mantaine is a relatively new face in athletics and would be chomping at the chance to announce herself on the world scene in style.
