Junior Starlets, the Kenya’s under 17 Women head coach Mildred Cheche has announced a professional squad ahead of FIFA World Cup under 17 qualifiers against Uganda.
With the two legged play set for May 22 and May 30 in Uganda and Kenya respectively, Cheche is optimistic that she will get a good team that will qualify for the world cup.
Initially, Kenya had dominated against Namibia with 7-1 aggregate, hoping to replicate the same against neighbours. Uganda will host the first leg on May 22 at the FUFA Stadium, Kadiba then Kenya will host the return leg come May 30th at the Nyayo National Stadium.
The players are expected to be in the camp starting tomorrow with insisting that focus must immediately shift to the next challenge.
