Danny Chelogoi registered back to back wins when he registered his win on Saturday adding on his other win he registered a fortnight ago on played par 71 Eldoret golf club.
On Saturday, Chelogoi won the June Monthly Mug adding on his May Monthly Mug for a double win.
Handicap 13 golfer fired 69 nett for the title after playing 82 gross. He fired two birdies in each nine with a couple of bogeys beating his challenger Ndiuini Gikonyo to second with a point. Gikonyo edged out another junior player Cyril Kitiwa, the son of the immediate Captain on count back for podium positions as well a Emmanuel Saina.
He started on a low note, dropping a shot in the opening holes one and two pars 5 and 3, sunk deeper with three shots in third par 4, bogeyed in 4 and 5 pars 4 and 3 recovered with a par on 6th and 7th pars 4 and 3 then bogeyed in 7th par4 then ended the inward nine with a birdie in nine par 5.
In the outward nine, he started with bogeys in 10th, 11th and 2th, recovered with a par in 13th bogeyed in 14th and 15th parred in 16th and 17th before ending with a birdie in 18th.
