Eldoret Golf club chairman Andrew Chelogoi and immediate Captain Moses Tanui will lead the Uasin Gishu County against Elgeyo Marakwet in the Inter County Match-play golf tournament set for Sunday 23rd at Eldoret Golf Club.
With few golf tournaments in the club, Moses Tanui, the former Boston Marathon champion decided to sponsor the Matchplay with golfers from Uasin Gishu County battling out for top honours against their Elgeyo Marakwet based golfers.
Dubbed Moses Tanui Inter-County championships, Moses Tanui golf tournament, Chelogoi will partner with Jeremiah Kayago of uasin Gishu taking on Elgeyo Marakwet’s Catherine Chumo and P. Kiprop in the first tee.
Tanui, who recently sponsored the inter-region junior golf tournament will pair with P. Mwangi against Gilbert Chebii and F. Tuiyot in the last flight at 12:20 pm
