Kenyans commanded a 1-2 podium finish in the 800m at the ongoing Africa Games in Accra, Ghana.
Little known Aron Cheminingwa won the two lap race leading compatriot Alex Ngeno Kipngetich in an all Kenyan as Botswana’s Tumo Nkape. Cheminingwa won the race in 1:45.72 with Ngeno returning second in 1:45.73 and Tumo’s 1:46.04.
