Reigning Ras AL Khamah Half marathon champion Fancy Chemutai will be battling out with former Barcelona Marathon champion Ruth Chebitok for Sunday’s Berlin Marathon.
As much as they are less celebrated unlike the Ethiopian Hiwot Gebrekidan, Shure Demise, Helen Tola and Bethelhem Moges.
Chemutai and Chebitok will be marshalling Kenyan forces alongside two time Baringo 10km champion Edith Chelimo among others.
Chebitok finished sixth in the 2019 Toronto Marathon while Chemutai was 10th at the Valencia Marathon, Chelimo finished 11th at the 2020 London marathon.
