Reigning World marathon champion Ruth Chepngetich and former Africa cross country champion Leonard Barsoton will be chasing New Delhi half marathon titles.
The World Athletics Gold Label race set for 9th December will also see Tsehay Gemechu and Andamlak Belihu defend their titles they won last year in the Indian capital.
The organizers named a strong team of runners for the annual race that keeps on attracting top runners from across the world.
Chepngetich (65:30), who won the world marathon title in Doha last year will be chasing the title alongside Kenyans Evaline Chirchir (66:01), Brillian Kipkoech (66:56), former world cross country champion Irene Cheptai (67:39), and former Africa junior 1,500m silver Eva Cherono who will be making her debut
In men, Leonard Barsoton (59:09), who was part of the Kenya team at the World half marathon last month in Gdynia will battle the title with Josphat Boit (59:19) and Edwin Kiptoo (59:26).
