Commonwealth Games 10,000m silver medalist Irene Chepet Cheptai won the New Delhi Half Marathon held today in India
The former world cross country champion won the race in 66:42 as her personal best in the 21km dsiatnce ahead of Ethiopia’s Dawit Seyaum (68:02) and while Uganda’s Stella Chesang was third in 68:11.
In the men Felix Kipkoech finished second after clocking 60:33 behind Ethiopia’s Chala Regasa who won in 60:30, while another Ethiopian Boki Diriba was third in 60:34.
