After winning 5,000m on Friday, she completed her brace today with 10,000m in 34:32.4 ahead of Irene Kimais (15:50.3) and Miriam Cherop (53:53.2).
Reigning world 1,500m champion Timothy Cheruiyot returned into action to win the 800m away from his 1,500m.
The Olympic 1,500m silver medalist, Cheruiyot won the 800m race in1:46.8 ahead of Macdonal Kipruto (1:47.2) and Norbery Kolombos (1:47.1).
World under 18 10,000m race walk silver medalist Samson Dominic Ndigiti won the race walk in 46:13.6. the Africa under 20 10,000m walk champion was using the event as part of his preparations for the World Walk race Team challenge in Oman.
As Ndigiti was shining in men, Sylvia Kemboi won the women’s title in 48:47.2 ahead of Naomi Jepkurui (50:09.7) and Assumpta Ikate in 51:37.4.
National 100m champion Millicent Ndoro dominated the women’s 100m.
Commonwealth games 800m champion Wycliffe Kinyamal won the t men’s 400m title.
