Returning into action after maternity leave, former Commonwealth Youth Games 3,000m champion Gladys Chesir sunk deep at the NN Mission Marathon ran today Enschede, Twente Airport course in the Netherlands.
Chesir, who last competed at the Boston marathon in 2019 when she dropped off, finished in position eight where home girl Katherina Stenruck won the title.
Steinruck won the title in 2:25.59 beating Sarah Moreira coming in second timing 2:26.42 and Rabea Schoneborn completed the podium in 2:27.03 while Chesir was 8th clocking 2:29.16.
