Chipu, the national rugby under 20 side won their last pool match at the ongoing Rugby World Cup under 20 Trophy at the Nyayo National stadium today.
The Curtis Olago side, after losing two of their opening fixtures to Samoa and Spain, managed to beat Hong Kong China 22-16 in their last pool match.

Chipu finished third in Pool ‘B’ where Mike Oduor scored a try in each half, in addition to Jackton Omondi’s bullish try for the victory.
Captain Michael Wamalwa’s expressed gratitude for their first victory in the tournament, acknowledging that constant improvement in each game was the key to their triumph.
Wamalwa acknowledged that such tough encounters would be crucial in their journey toward further improvement.
