Kenya’s Chipu, the national rugby under 23 side will be facing off with the Netherlands, Uruguay and USA at the World Rugby Junior Trophy set for next month in Scotland.
The Simon Jawichre coached side named the final squad for the tournament set to start on July 2nd to July 17th chasing their maiden title after dominating the Africa Rugby Barthes Cup victory.
Jawichre named Geylord Ngasi, Andycole Omolo, Iddo Kuta, Wycliffe Ogutu, Nathan Tsindoli, Patrick Wainaina, Faran Juma, Michael Wamalwa, and James Olela who are currently training and Nairobi and will next week for Scotland.
As Africa champions, Kenya lies in pool B alongside the USA, Uruguay, and the Netherlands while pool A has the host Scotland, Japan, Hong Kong, and Samoa.
Chipu will open the title chase against Uruguay on July 2, followed by the Netherlands on July 7 and complete the pool matches against the USA on July 12th.
