Kenyan professional golfer Dismas Indiza and Patrice Tomno will be taking on the greens this weekend during the CIC Insurance golf tournament to be staged on par 73 Kitale golf course on Saturday.
The Mumias based golfer, who has been playing for kenya at the international competitions will be playing at 10:10am alongside Ali Saif and J. Nzomo.
Indiza will be the only professional golfer to take on the greens in the insurance company sponsored tournament in the Trans Nzoia based club.
Tomno will be enjoying on home course after staying out of competition for long.He said after he won the Trans nationalbank golf tournament,he has been out of form for a while but he is ready to bounce back with a win.
“I have been out of form but I have to play well come Saturday and register a win,” said Tomno.
He added that the club has not had any golfing event recently and that might attract many golfers. The weather is also good in the region.
“I like playing well on wet greens and because we have showers, I hope to play. Wet greens are good for me when putting,” added Tomno.
In the morning flight, Patrice Tomno will be teeing off at 8:00am together with Philip Kae and Elisha Mwei. Ten minutes later, Godfrey Rutto, club captain Fandi Shiyukah and lady captain Hannah Rotenbar will follow.
