Constant Cap to officiate Kenya Cup final again

Constant Cap will be officiating his 5th Kenya Cup final when champions hosts former champions KCB Rugby set for May 9th at the Kakamega ASK Showground in Kakamega County.

Cap will be assisted by Victor Oduor, who handled the 2023 Kenya Cup final, alongside Saidi Kenya, who completes the officiating team as the second assistant referee.

Today, the Kenya Rugby Union in a statement wrote: “Constant Cap will be the man in charge of the 2025/26 Kenya Cup Final. He is no stranger to this stage, as this will be his fifth Kenya Cup final appearance and his one hundred and fifty-eighth Kenya Cup game. He will be assisted by Victor Oduor and Saidi Kenya,”

Kabras Sugar RFC earned the right to host the decider after finishing top of the regular season standings, securing home advantage.

This will be the fifth time Kakamega Showground hosts the Kenya Cup final, having previously staged the 2018/19, 2022/23, 2023/24, and 2024/25 editions, with Kabras winning the last three.
