Daniel Lupao Sikuta is set to leave Kenya cup champions Kabras RFC following the expiry of his contract.
The prop broke the news on the social media (facebook) that they have a mutual agreement not to extend his stay.
The former Kenya 15s International, announced that he had a deliberation meeting with the club’s top leadership
Sikuta captained Kabras RFC during the 2021/22 season, leading them to win two Kenya Cup titles, back to back Enterprise Cup titles and one National 7s Circuit title. The legendary forward will be remembered for his hard hitting tackles, and ball carrying abilities.
He further extended gratitude to his now former teammates, wishing them the best even in his absentia.
He wrote: “It has been a tough decision to make leaving Kabras RFC that has been home to me for many years. We had a meeting with club management and agreed that I will leave the club when my contract expires.”
