Kenyan champions National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) today bagged their second win against hosts Rwanda Patriotic Army 33-25 in the ongoing East and Central Africa Clubs Championship in Kigali,Rwanda.
The Kenya Handball Federation National League champions had won 39-24 against Cobra yesterday and today, it was their second win ahead of tomorrow’s match against home team Gichumbi.
In the women’s category, Nairobi Water got off to a losing note going down to Police of Uganda 28-25 yesterday.
The side coached by experienced National women’s team coach Jack Ochieng had a rest day today and will make a return to the courts on tomorrow with a clash against UOK.
The women’s event is being played in a round robin format, while the men’s version has attracted two pools with all teams qualifying for the quarterfinals.
