Little known Kenya Douglas Kimeli Kipkurgut and Ethiopian Kebebush Yisma Zewoldemariam triumphed in yesterday’s Tuiyuan International marathon held in China’s Wuyi Square.
The duo won in a race that attracted 40,000 runners from across the world along Fen River, traversing this historic yet vibrant city.
Kipkurgut won the men’s title in 2:09:14 while Zewoldemariam won the women title in 2:25:50.
