Fresh from winning Barclays Bank Festival golf series in Eldoret, Eldoret golfer Andrew Chelogoi will be in contention again this weekend at the DSTV Multichoice Golf tournament on nine hole Eldoret golf club.
Chelogoi played 45 stable ford points to claim victory and come Saturday, he will be trying the second luck on home turf in the DSTV golf series that includes golfers from neighbouring clubs of Nandi Bears and Kitale Clubs.
Chelogoi will be in contention with Eldoret’s professional golfer Boniface Simwa, E. Mutai and Kitale’s Lady captain Hannah Rutenbar at 11:50am.
Host captain Moses Tanui said all is well as he hosts great golfers from other clubs.
“We are well prepared for the tournament which involves many clubs, meaning we will have many golfers and we expect the tournament to be more competitive,” said Tanui, the former marathoner.
