World 10km record holder Agnes Jebet Ngetich and World half marathon silber medalist Daniel Simiu Ebenyo were the winners of the 2025 4th edition of the Sirikwa Classic Cross Country.
Jebet easily won the 10km senior women after triple Olympic gold medalist Faith Kipyegon dropping from the race.
Jebet said that though it was hot and windy but I ran my race comfortably.

Second placed Janet Chepngetich said: “I did not expect a podium finish today. Competition was tough and I thought I would finish number 5 or 6.from here I will test myself and see how I perform in the 5,000m and 10, 000m and see which I perform better as we head for the world championships.”
Third placed Miriam Chebet said that during the nationals I finished 7th taking 3rd at Sirikwa was not easy but I am happy with my performance and build up for 10,000m.
Ebenyo, who two weeks ago won the national cross country successful successfully retained the title won last year at the same venue.
He said that he was happy to have defended my title and end the cross country.
“I will focus on Seoul Marathon next month on 16th”
