Eldoret Falcons, Vihiga Queens in walkover as Wadadia win

Eldoret Falcons earned three points against Mathare United Women without playing a match scheduled for today at The University of Eldoret Pavilion grounds.

The hosts were given walk over after their opponents failed to turn up for the match in the Kenya Women Premier league (KWPL) as search for points continues.

In  other matches of the day, Wadadia used home ground advantage to defeat visiting Oserian Ladies 2-1 at Mumias Sports Complex.

Miriam Kurgat and Margaret Anyango scored for Wadadia before Dorcas Shikobe halved the score.

Kurgat scored first in the 16th minute before Anyango netting the second ten minutes latter before water break.

On resumption Shikobe, who turns up for Harambee Starlets slotted in for a consolation.

At the same venue, defending champions Vihiga Queens, just like Eldoret Falcons were awarded a walkover after Spedag failed to honour their match.
