Kenya registered their maiden win at the 2019 World under 19 Lacrosse championships going on in Toronto Canada.
After losing 16-10 in the opening match against Korea yesterday, Kenya recovered well to whip Jamaica 17-01 to enhance their chances of progressing into the knockout stages.
Kenya will be facing off with Germany tomorrow before ending pool C encounter against China on Monday as top two teams will proceed into knock-out stages.
The East Africans became the first African team to compete at the championships.
