Emyba staged a sweet revenge against Eldnets in the third match of Kenya national Classic Basketball League with a narrow win.
Eldonets from Eldoret whipped Emyba 3-0 in promotional play-off as both teams had qualified to join the top tier league from Division One.
And today, Emyba staged a sweet revenge with a 73-71 at Nyayo Gymnasium. Eldonets won the two matches in Eldoret before winning the third in Nairobi last year and today was thir first meeting after promotion.
In other matches, league leaders Ulinzi Warriors edged out Umoja 74-64 National Classic basketball league match at Nyayo National Stadium Gymnasium as Eagle Wings, who were forced to come from behind to beat visiting Western Delight 53-38, while Emyba welcomed Eldonets to Nairobi with a narrow 73-71 victory in a match which could have gone either way.
In women’s league United States International University – Africa (USIU-A) women registered a 46-43 victory over Kenyatta University Oryx. The game went into extra time after a 38-38 full-time score.
