Eregy girls dominate Youth Lionesses team ahead of Youth Commonwealth Games

Eregy Girls’ players have dominated the Kenya Under 18 girls’ national rugby sevens team ahead of Commonwealth Youth Games scheduled to be held in Trinidad and Tobago from August 4th to 11th, 2023.

Head Coach Sarah Agola has unveiled the squad that will represent Kenya in Port of Spain

The Young Lionesses will be locking horns with five other strong teams from across the Commonwealth, including hosts Trinidad & Tobago, Canada, Wales, Australia, and Fiji. The rugby sevens competition will take place from August 6th to 8th, adopting a round-robin format. The teams ranked 1st and 2nd at the conclusion of the pool matches will compete for the gold medal, while the teams placed 3rd and 4th will battle it out for the bronze medal. The last two teams in the rankings will vie for 5th place.

The Kenya U18 Women’s National Sevens Squad is a blend of talent and determination, and it comprises the following outstanding players:
