Italian Eugenio Amos and Paolo Ceci defeated Kenya’s defending champion Baldev Chager to win the 2023 East African Safari Classic Rally.
Driving in his Porsche 911 clocked 14:42:35.2 to beat Chager, the defending champion, to second as Kris Rosenberger sealed the podium places to complete a Porsche 911 clean sweep in South Coast.
Kenya’s Bonamy Grimes was fourth in another Porsche 911 while Ian Duncan and Jaspal Matharu were fifth in a “Flying Sausage” Datsun 280Z.
Great Britain-based Kenyan Farhaaz Khan, navigated by Keith Henrie, finished 10th in a Ford Escort Mk1.
