FIFA Ranking: Harambee Stars drops two positions

After collecting three points from Africa Cup of Nations, Harambee Stars has dropped two steps in the latest FIFA Ranking.

Kenya has moved from previous 105 to 107th in the world in the latest Fifa rankings in the 211-nation rankings released on Thursday.

Sebastien Migne charges had climbed three places to 105 on June 14 but lost six points on 1201 points after a disappointing outing at the concluded Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) in Egypt.

Kenya beat Tanzania 3-2 in the second pool C match but lost 2-0 champion Algeria in the opening match and 3-0 to finalists Senegal but Senegal remained on the apex of but rose two places to 20th globally. T

second position went to Tunisia whose 1-0 defeat at the hands of Senegal in semi-final stage has seen them drop four places to 29th worldwide.

Nigeria’s bronze medal finish has catapulted them 12 places up to 33rd in the world as Morocco and Egypt have improved six and nine spots respectively to 41st and 49th globally.
