Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) will host Kitale RFC in the Nationwide National final match in the match to the Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) Championships next season.
As University of Eldoret RFC-Trojans and Ngong Warriors play in the relegation KRU survival play off when they play Nationwide semi final losers.
MMUST ousted Eldoret RFC while Kitale beat Swara in last weekend’s semi finalmatches played in Kakamega and Kitale respectively in the third tier.
The 12.00pm match will see all finalists promoted to KRU Championships. MMUST beat Eldoret 30-05 while Kitale won by 12-08 to book for final slot to replace relegated Moi Unoversity and Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology (JKUAT) Cougars in the second tier.
Ngong Warriors, 9th at the close of the KRU Championship were award them their aborted clash against the UOE and will host Eldoret at the Kibiko Secondary.
A loss for either UoE or Ngong will see both sides lose their championship status for the 2018/19 at the expense of the winners from this coming Saturday’s encounters.
