Football lovers are mourning the death of former Harambee Starlets head coach Justin Ojamoong Okiring who died yesterday in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County.
Okiring succumbed to the injuries inflicted by thugs that attacked him in West Pokot County.
As one of the man behind the growth of women football in the country, Okiring died while receiving treatment.
He has coached various girls’ and women’s teams during his illustrious career, starting with the Nasokol Girls, Wiyeta Girls, Trans Nzoia Falcons and the national women’s team Harambee Starlets.
Before his death, he was coaching Brenda Girls in Bungoma county.
