Gaspo Ladies move second

Gaspo Youth thrashed Kisumu All Starlets as Oserian Ladies were held in the Kenya Women Premier League (KWPL) played on Saturday.

Using home advantage, Gaspo edged out Kisumu 4-0 at Ruiru grounds to move into second position. Hot firing Wincate Kaari netted a hat-trick with Harambee Starlets Star Corazon Acquino scoring one in a goal marathon.

Kaari started the scoring with just 16 minutes into the match, netting a brace in 61^st before securing a hat trick in the 68^th minute as Acquino’s 89^th minute sealed the victory for Gaspo for a 30 point mark.

At Oserian, Oserian Ladies were held to a one all draw against promoted side Nyuki Starlets. Lilian Mmboga’s goal for Nyuki cancelled out Rebbeca Akinyi’s opener to share the spoils.
