Gathimba, Ngii, Wanyonyi, Wachira and Ndigiti to fly Kenya’s flag at world walking challenge

Reigning Africa Games champions Samuel Gathimba and Emily Ngii will lead Kenyans at the World Athletics Race Walking Team Challenge Championships set for next month.

Today, Athletics Kenya named the national team that will compete at the championships that starts on March 4^th to 5^th in Muscat, Oman.

Under the tutelage of George Kariuki named four men and one woman the team will leave on March 2^nd.

Gathimba and Ngii will lead World Under-18 10km race walk bronze medallist Dominic Ndigiti, Simon Wachira and reigning World Under-20 Championships 10,000m race walk champion Heristone Wanyonyi.
