George Felix claimed the Coast Open Golf Championships, The Kenya Amateur Golf Championships (KAGC) series after defeating Matthew Wahome on Sudden Death Play-off on par 71 Mombasa golf Club.

Felix and Wahome from Nyali tied on six over gross 148 and it was deciced the duo were given a chance to play for the title.
They all teed off again on hole one but Felix won on the second hole to lift the title, his first title in the 2018 series with the champion getting an automatic qualification for 2019 Kenya Open.
In the first round, Felix played one over gross 72. In the first nine of the first round, the champion registered parred on eight holes and bogeyed on par three hole four 3. In the back nine, he birdied on par 5 hole 17, seven pars and a bogey.
Despite playing five over in the second round, it was fun for Felix who fired a rare albatross on par three in the back nine coupled with a number of pars.
His close rival Wahome fired four over 75 gross in first round and added two over 73 in the second and last round for six over 148.
