George Maina appointed Nakuru All Stars coach

George Maina has been appointed Football Kenya Federation (FKF) National Super League (NSL) side Nakuru All Stars this season.

Maina, the former Timsales, Kambakia Christian Centre (KCC), Mumbi Nationale and Ligi Ndogo SC coach was appointed to replace former AFC Leopards coach Nick Yakhama at the Nakuru based club as Yakhama takes over the newly promoted side to the Kenya Premier League, Zoo Kericho

Yakhama coached Nakuru All Stars last year leading the team to position 16th. During his stay in Nakuru, the team recorded eight wins, 13 draws and 17 losses.

“I have been tasked to take charge and reported to work this week. Everything is set in here just preparing for the new season.

“I thank the management for this choice and for sure, nothing else will come out of me other than good and better performance,” Maina said.

Maina has less than two weeks to get his arsenals ready for the 2017 season.
