Gilbert Selebwa, the Shabana FC coach was forced to watch the entire match on the terraces after fighting match officials in Eldoret.
Selebwa was sent off the touchline when Eldoret Youth played against Shabana fc in the National Super League (NSL) match at Eldoret Showground today.
Referee Roel Koech and first line man Arnold Kimutai ‘rejected’ a goal ruling it offside in the 19th minute, forcing the match to stop for about ten minutes.
Michael Otieno ‘cored’ against Eldoret Youth, following on Richard Obonyo’s rebound after Bob Mugalia who shot at Obonyo had been ruled offside by Kimutai.
That incident angered Selebwa and his technical bench in a highly tempered match but once he was sent off, order was restored. Shabana failed to contained speedy Kevin Cheti who crossed to Joseph Oyugi to score with easy.
