Champions Gor Mahia will be facing off with former champions Ulinzi Stars in the penultimate round of Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League at the Ulinzi Sports Complex, Nairobi.
With both Gor and Kenya Police chasing the title, Ulinzi is out of sight in the battle.
After playing 32 matches, leaders Police have 61 points while Gor have 55 where the champions need to win all their matches as Police loss of their remaining matches to take the title. Any win for Police will kick Gor out of contention.
For Ulinzi, a loss would put them in danger of relegation, especially if the teams below them grind out positive results for the Danston Nyaudo’s charges lie 11th with 37 points from 32 games.
In other fixtures, bottom placed Nairobi United with 31 points will face KCB at the Sportpesa Arena in Murang’a as Bidco take on 4th placed Kakamega Homeboyz at the Thika Stadium.
2009 champions Sofapaka will have a date with Posta Rangers at the Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos while AFC Leopards face FC Talanta at the Dandora Stadium.
At the same time, Mara Sugar will be hosting Murang’a Seal at the Awendo Green Stadium with Mathare United hosting Bandari FC at Dandora Stadium.
