Kenya Premier League Champions Gor Mahia lost the opening leg of CAF Champions league qualifying round to El Merreikh Bentiu of South Sudan played today at Juba Stadium.
Mohamed Musa netted the sole goal in the 1-0 win against Gor in the first leg of the qualifiers to give hosts an advantage in the second round come next weekend at the Nyayo stadium.
El Merriekh created space for Wayi to shoot from the edge of the box before breaking the deadlock in the 67th minute with Musa scoring.
