Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards FKF Cup final has been moved to the Nayayo stadium from the initial Utalii grounds in Nairobi.
Apart from the final, there will be play-offs at the same venue where Bidco United will take on Equity Bank in an early kick-off for third and 4th positions.
The Gor Mahia vs AFC Leopards winner will represent the country in the CF Confederation Cup with a token of KES 2 Million. And the final losers will pocket a million shillings, third and fourth finihsres will earn KES 750,000 and KES 500,000 respectively.
This derby, dubbed Mashemeji derby, fans will not be allowed into the stadium under the ministry of health protocols to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
Leopards will be looking to make a comeback at the continental stage after many years in the cold with Gor Mahia attempting to win in order to play at the continental level for the trophy they last lifted in 1987, then known as the Nelson Mandela cup.
