Kenya Premier League champions Gor Mahia were Cornered at home by visiting RS Berkane in the CAF Confederation match at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani today.
The champions lost 0-2 to visiting RS Berkane as coach Hassan Oktay blamed the loss on the strike.
The loss is a big disadvantage for Gor Mahia in the return leg back in Morocco as hosts will enjoy a 2-0 win advantage.
Issoufou Dayo gave the visitors the lead in the 24th minute with his accurate header into the net to silence home fans before El Helali added the second in the 51st minute when he capitalised on a defensive mistake from Philemon Otieno to send the ball right into the net.
