Leopards, Bandari, Homeboyz, KCB register KPL wins

AFC Leopards, Bandari, Kakamega Homeboyz and Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) registered wins in today’s Kenya Premier League (KPL) matches played across the country.

At Afraha stadium in Nakuru, Leopards continued with their good performance to win against former champions Ulinzi Stars.

Brian Marita scored the only goal in the 50th minute to seal the all important points to guide Ingwe move from relegation zone.

Bandari capitalized on home ground to whip Sportpesa Shield Cup champions Kariobangi Sharks at Mbaraki stadium.

Abdalla Hassan’s 74th minute goal was enough to collect six points from Sharks in the first and second leg wins.

Allan Wanga scored a brace as Kakamega Homeboyz thrashed visiting Chemelil Sugar 2-0 at Bukhungu stadium.

The lethal striker opened the score in the 2nd minute of the kick off whistle with an easy tap in before he headed in the winner in 46th minute to ensure his team collects all points.

In the first encounter at Bukhungu, Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) lacked respect for their hosts Vihiga United.

Ezekiel Otwoma (55th), Kennedy Owino (78th) and Simon Munala (82nd) scored for the bankers in the 0-3 win against Vihiga.
